THE SAVIORS!!! How did I end up with this???

Now, the odd thing is a 5 song demo from these guys showed up at my house yesterday. I am not too sure if they contacted me, and I said I wanted a copy of it or what. But somehow I got a copy of their demo sent to me. I even just looked through my PM's and such, and I see only one that MIGHT be in relation to this, back in March.

But onto the CD demo, good Lord! It came in a paper sleeve, with a picture of Jason Dimitri Monroe in it, an actual picture of him in his living room, I guess. Not knowing what it was all about, the packaging and all that, I feared the worst.

Well, this morning I put it in my CD player, and can honestly say it is one of the best things I have heard this year! The production is really good, the guitar work is great, bordering on an almost NY Dolls/Thunders path but stepping away from it just as it gets too close. The songs are great, kind of a Replacements meet Hanoi Rocks. The second song on it sounds a lot like something The Dimestore Halos would write, which is a GREAT thing, IMO.

The song that stands out the best is the third one, something about "Windy" is what I can tell. Great song that has cool music, with a vocal that makes the music that much stronger.

If somebody knows what I have here, please let me know!!! Mr. Dimitri Monroe shows up around here from time to time I know, so maybe he can himself tell me about this little CD. Does Brian Morgan show up here ever?

Seriously though, as this thing played, I had no idea how many tracks I was going to be treated to. As the numbers kept going by, I became happier and happier. A total of 5, and I could have gone for another 25 from these guys! Simply awesome stuff, just awesome!!!

Talking to myself never seems to get me anywhere. Dammit. But anyways, incase any of you other critters out there are into these guys, the songs I have are, from what I can tell:

Now then, do any of you people know these guys? Has Dimitri been around here? I could swear he was around this site before. He is from Cincy, from what I can tell, and I know we have a Cincinatti and area group in these parts. How about it? Kids? Can you help out a bit here?
